Further to our recognition under the Business Wales Equality Pledge, we’re also excited to share an important update on our environmental commitments. In 2024, Wrexham Chauffeurs received a Carbon Reduction Certificate for steps we’ve taken to minimise our environmental footprint.
Building on that progress, we are now preparing to install a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging point at our home base and head office. Following a productive meeting with our electrician earlier this week, we’re pleased to confirm that the hardware has already arrived and installation is imminent.
This development marks a significant milestone in our journey toward a lower-emissions future. Our operations are grounded in professionalism and reliability, and those values now extend to environmental sustainability as well.
Looking Ahead: Electric Mercedes Test Drives
Once the new EV charger is up and running, the next step will be test drives of electric Mercedes-Benz vehicles. These vehicles are renowned for blending luxury, cutting-edge technology, and environmental efficiency, values that align perfectly with the Wrexham Chauffeurs ethos.
Test drives will help us evaluate the comfort, range, client experience, and suitability of electric models for our day-to-day operations, including executive transfers, airport runs, and special event transportation.
We are particularly interested in models such as the Mercedes EQE and the EQS SUV, both of which offer executive-level features, whisper-quiet driving, and outstanding passenger comfort.
